Off City Sewer, We Pump the Tank

Plenty of homes and businesses around Savannah sit off city sewer — on the islands, in Richmond Hill and Pooler, and in the counties just outside town. We pump those tanks and haul the waste to an approved disposal site.

A year-round house should be pumped at least every three years. A full household, a garbage disposal, or a restaurant kitchen fills the tank faster. Slow drains, a sewage smell, or a wet spot over the drain field means call now.

If you are on city sewer, you do not need a pump-out. Not sure which you have? Say so when you call and we will sort it out.

Who We Pump For

Homes & Rentals

Most one- to four-bedroom houses in Georgia are on a 1,000-gallon tank. A garbage disposal often means a 1,500-gallon tank, and it can add about half again as many solids. Plan on pumping a year-round home at least every three years, and sooner if the house stays full.

Kitchens & Job Sites

A kitchen or a crew fills a tank faster than a house. Heavily used systems, like restaurants, need pumping more often, and the dose chamber should be pumped with the tank. Tell us what the building is used for and we will set a schedule that fits.

When to Call Sooner

Gurgling after a flush, a sewage smell indoors or in the yard, or a soggy bright-green patch over the drain field means solids may already be leaving the tank. Ease up on the water and call. Store-bought tank additives are not a substitute for pumping — they can push solids into the drain field.

A Price Before We Roll

Have the address, about how many people use the system, whether there is a garbage disposal, and the last time it was pumped. Tank size and where the lids are help if you know them. We will tell you the price before anyone comes out.
